Our products
Ring/Band elements for contact heating of cylindrical surfaces can be manufactured in a variety of designs according to customer specifications. The two most common variants are mica and ceramic. Mica elements can be built with approximately 4.5W/cm2 surface power, while ceramic elements can reach 8W/cm2 and higher operating temperatures. The band elements are manufactured as standard in chromated stainless steel, with diameters from 20 to 630mm and widths up to 100mm. The standard connection voltage is 230V, with other designs available as an option. Iron contact, commonly used in the plastics industry, is available as an option. Connection wiring harnesses are available in different designs or according to customer specifications. The band elements can be provided with holes for mounting an external pressure/temperature sensor, or with built-in temperature sensors, Pt100 or Thermocouple. Typical areas of use include the plastics industry, extruder heating, roller heating, tool heating, or heating a cylindrical object by conduction.
