IR 260 is a robust modular heating unit designed to be combined in multiple sections for heating larger surface areas. It uses black ceramic hollow elements SFEH12 (2 × 2) and can be wired in series or parallel to suit different supply voltages. The housing is stainless steel with a high-reflectivity polished aluminum-clad steel reflector. It mounts using four aluminum stand-offs and can be fitted with an optional type K thermocouple via the supplied ceramic type K connector.
